On Wednesday 22 May, 2019, the HSC-CU organized a workshop on “Capacity Building for Halal Entrepreneurs: SMEs Hero in Town” at the Bang Luang Mosque.  The purpose of the workshop was to lay a foundation in business related issues for community business entrepreneurs to be well-equipped when managing their businesses.  The workshop consisted of three topics: “Hygienic principles entrepreneurs should know,” “Haram (forbidden) ingredients/raw materials in the market entrepreneurs should be aware of,” and “Management in Business, Finance, and Accountancy.”  There were altogether 15 entrepreneurs applying to attend the workshop.  After this, the HSC-CU Service Unit team will subsequently visit these business enterprises to render suitable advice.
